APPLE RAISIN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 c. apple juice
1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, halved

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Combine egg and apple juice. Stir into dry ingredients. Fold in 1 cup apple, raisins, walnuts and cherries. Pour into a greased 8 x 4 x 2 loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Makes 1 loaf.

I cooked mine at 300°F; 350°F was too hot in my oven.
