TOMATOES DIABLO | |
1/2 c. sliced green onions 1/4 c. olive oil 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 3 tbsp. tarragon vinegar 2 tsp. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt 7-8 firm, ripe tomatoes, peeled and sliced Combine all ingredients (except tomatoes) in a small bowl. Whisk until well blended. Place the tomato slices in a large shallow bowl or glass tray. Pour the dressing over the tomatoes. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for several hours. Serve at room temperature. |
