SUMMER SQUASH ZUCCHINI 
1/8 lb. butter
1 or 2 sm. zucchini
1 med. onion
1 c. (sharp or medium or American cheese grated or cut up)

In frying pan put butter and melt. slice onion to cover bottom of pan. Slice squash 1/4 inch (no water). Cook covered over low heat or simmer until cooked or tender. Take off cover simmer off water then put cheese on top and melt. Do not stir cheese. Serve.
