APPLE NUT CAKE (Bread) 
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
5 med. apples, peeled & sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

In a large bowl, beat eggs well; add sugar, oil and vanilla. Stir in apples. Sift salt and baking soda with flour. Add apple batter to flour mixture. Mix in nuts. Bake in a greased 10 cup cake pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done. Serves 8.
