MOM'S BAR-B-QUE CHICKEN | |
1 chicken About 1 1/2 c. flour Season salt 1/4 c. milk 2 eggs 1 bottle Kraft bar-b-que sauce with onion bits 1/4 c. brown sugar Wash, cut up, and skin chicken. Let water drain off good. Beat milk and eggs together. Dip each piece in egg mixture, then roll each piece in flour mixed with enough season salt to make a light orange color. Have oil hot, deep fry on a medium heat until chicken is cooked in middle good (turning once). Then turn stove on High and brown (this will help chicken not to be greasy). Let oil drip off as you take it out of pan. HAVE READY: In skillet, bar-b-que sauce (wash out bottle about 1/4 full of water and pour in sauce). Add 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3 tablespoons oil. Let this be cooking slow as you fry chicken. Take chicken from frying pan and put in sauce. Let cook, turning once until next pan is ready or until covered good. Very Good! |
