NORWEGIAN PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. diced raw apples
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Beat eggs, add sugar and beat well. Add dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and apples. Add vanilla. Bake in greased 9 inch pie plate at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

TOPPING:

Whip 1/2 pint whipping cream or Cool Whip. Fold in small can of crushed pineapple, drained. Put on top of cooled baked pie.
