PECAN (OR PEANUT) PIE 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. melted butter
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts or pecans
1 (9") unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat until blended. Stir in nuts (whole peanuts or coarsely chopped pecans). Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
