Dad's Homemade Pancakes

Thanks for this, man. I replaced a few things, though. Instead of sugar, I used light agave nectar; instead of vegetable oil I used olive oil; I used buckwheat flour. It sounds odd, I know, but tastes pretty great to me. Also, with the syrup, I made a green tea syrup by replacing the water with green tea, actually used sugar this time, but then deleted the maple flavour from the equation altogether. Again, funky sounding, but epic tasty.

Good basic recipe; very easy to make! I think a dash of vanilla would add a nice flavor to it.

These pancakes are so AWESOME!!! We have not bought pancake mix since my husband discovered this recipe. Sometimes when I want to be more healthy I use Whole Wheat Pastry Flour. I think it is ok with the pastry flour, but my husband is not a fan of the whole wheat pastry flour version. So I would say stick with the way "Dad" makes them, after all is there really a healthy pancake? :) We will never buy box again!
