My wife is a celiac. So, I make these pancakes with Tom Sawyer's Gluten Free Flour. The mixes for gluten free don't turn out so well. This is the best recipe we've found for pancakes.

THE best recipe I have found on the internet so far! The pancakes get nice and fluffy, not flat and flimsy. I added a couple drops of vanilla to the batter and topped the cakes with fresh berries, and my two little girls ate them up before I could blink!

I asked my 93 year-old father if he wanted pancakes for breakfast. I found out there was no pankcake mix in the house so I knew I'd have to make them from scratch. I found this recipe, read the comments, and decided to try it. We both enjoyed them and I plan to make them for my family as well. Next time I will make the syrup as well.

My daughter had a sleepover and wanted pancakes for breakfast. I thought that I had plenty of bisquick to discover that I only had about 2/3 cup of mix left in the box. I found this recipe on the internet and decided to make it. My kids are very pioky and only like one brand of syrup, but I decided to make the syrup for my husband and myself. Thank goodness I had bought maple flavoring for my Christmas baking. This recipe received all thumbs up. My kids tried the syrup and told me to never buy syrup again. Thanks for this recipe. I will never buy boxed mix or bottled syrup again.

Forget Bisquick. This is the best, most economical mix I've seen. Try it with whole wheat flour and a few drops of vanilla in the mix. Outstanding!
