STRUDEL 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream

Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Add butter. Work into flour mixture until like pie crust. Add beaten egg, sugar and sour cream. Make mixture into ball. Wrap and chill overnight. Cut ball into 4 pieces. Roll each piece like pie crust and spread with preserves, coconut, nuts, cinnamon and then roll as you would a jelly roll and seal ends.

Bake at 350 degrees on greased cookie sheet 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Cool and frost with 1/2 cup confectionary sugar and 1 tablespoon sour cream. I prefer apricot or raspberry jam and sprinkle cinnamon and nuts.
