CITY CHICKEN 
1 lb. veal
1 lb. lean beef
1 lb. lean pork
Salt to taste
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 tsp. water
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Black pepper

Cut meat into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange on skewers and press together to form drumstick. Dip into beaten egg and water, then roll in bread crumbs. Brown on all sides in 1/4 cup butter. Remove to baking pan. Lightly saute 1 tablespoon onion in drippings. Add few drops of water to clean skillet. Pour this over drumsticks. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour or until tender.
