1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked and cooled
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. Cool Whip
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. Crisco
4 c. fresh strawberries, washed and hulled

In large bowl beat (mixer) cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add extract and sugar; blend well. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon into cool pie crust. Arrange strawberries pointed side up over filling and chill. Melt chips and Crisco over low heat and drizzle over pie. Chill until set. Serves 8.
