CHICKEN OR TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. stuffing mix 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 c. water 2 1/2 c. chicken or turkey 1/2 c. celery 1/2 c. onion 1/2 c. mayonnaise 3/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 can cream of mushroom soup Grated Cheddar cheese Mix lightly stuffing mix, butter and water. Put 1/2 in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix chicken or turkey, celery, onion, mayonnaise and salt. Spread over stuffing and then top with rest of stuffing mixture. Blend eggs and milk. Pour over top of casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. One hour before baking pour mushroom soup over casserole. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with grated cheese and finish baking until cheese is melted. |
