POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. potato chips (crushed)
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, mix well. Add potato chips and nuts. Shape into small balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Use floured fork to press down. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 10 minutes or until done. Cool on paper towels to absorb any excess shortening.
