CREAM CHEESE MINTS | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract 3 c. sifted powdered sugar Few drops of food coloring In a small mixer bowl, combine softened cream cheese and peppermint extract. Gradually beat in powdered sugar with electric mixer until smooth. (Knead in the last of the powdered sugar with your hands). Knead in food coloring until it is evenly distributed. Sprinkle small candy molds with granulated sugar. Press about 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon mixture in each. Remove from mold and place on waxed paper; let dry overnight. Makes about 6 to 8 dozen mints. |
