TOASTED ALMOND TRUFFLES | |
1/2 c. evaporated milk 1/4 c. sugar 1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels 1/2-1 tsp. almond extract 1 c. finely chopped toasted almonds Combine milk and sugar in small heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to boil. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in morsels and extract until melted and smooth. Chill 45 minutes. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in almond. Chill until ready to serve. Makes 2 1/2 dozen. |
