SWISS CORN BAKE 
6 ears fresh corn
1/2 c. water
1 egg, beaten
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese, divided in 1/2
1 (5.33 oz.) can cream
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs

Clean corn, scrape off cob. Combine corn and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer 5 minutes, stirring often. Drain. Add egg, 3/4 cup cheese, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well and spoon into greased 10x6x2 dish. Set aside.

Combine butter, bread crumbs and remaining cheese. Mix well and sprinkle over corn. Bake 350 degrees 25 minutes. Serves 8.
