CHUCKWAGON CHILI MAC | |
1 box macaroni and cheese dinner 1 lb. extra lean ground beef 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. ground cumin 1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes (do not drain) 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans (do not drain) 1/3 cup sour cream 1/3 cup shredded cheddar Prepare macaroni and cheese by package directions. Meantime, brown meat with chili powder and cumin in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add tomatoes with liquid and beans. Simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in prepared macaroni and cheese. Cook 3-5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Top with sour cream and cheese. Yield: 6 servings. Submitted by: Phyllis Chittum |
