APPLE PIE COCKTAIL | |
2 gallons Apple Juice 1 gallon Apple Cider 1 1/4 cups white sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 6 cinnamon sticks - (or 3 per jug) 4/5 bottle of Everclear Grain Alcohol (do not substitute this) Bring to boil, the apple juice, the apple cider and sugar. This will take a little while, because it is a large batch. Once it reaches boiling, let it boil for 3 minutes. Take off heat and let cool completely. Can just take off and sit in a cool place. After it is completely cool, add Everclear. Be sure it IS Everclear, so you DO NOT taste the alcohol. SAVE THE JUGS FROM THE APPLE JUICE and CIDER; wash them out. Add 3 cinnamon sticks per jug, then fill with the apple mixture. Store in refrigerator. The longer it sits, the better it is. Once you taste this - it will not last long.... Submitted by: Phyllis |
