BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. dark syrup
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk or cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Cook syrup, sugar, water and butter at 360 degrees or soft ball stage. Cool slightly. Add milk, vanilla and salt. Mix well and store in refrigerator.
