BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. light cream or evaporated milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Cool slightly and add cream, salt and vanilla. Beat well. Makes 1 cup.
