BUTTER CRUNCH COOKIES | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 lb. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg yolk 2 c. flour Egg white 1 c. walnuts (opt.) Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and egg yolk. Combine with flour, press thinly on a 10"x15" cookie sheet. Spread egg white on top with walnuts. Bake in a 275 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. NOTE: Don't let get too brown. Dough will seem slightly soft and should be light colored when taken from oven. |
