WALDORF SALAD RING 
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
2 tsp. vinegar
3/4 c. diced celery, salted
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. diced apples
1/4 c. broken pecans or walnuts

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add cold water, vinegar and salt. Chill until slightly thickened, add nuts and celery. Chill until firm in 1 quart mold. Unmold on crisp lettuce, garnished with wedges of apples and mayonnaise.
