MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
1 tbsp. salt, optional
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. dry sherry wine (or any red or white wine)
1 flank steak

Mix ingredients together in a plastic food storage bag. Add flank steak. Marinate in refrigerator at least one hour (or up to eight hours), turning occasionally. Broil five minutes per side. Slice thin on an angle.
