BREAKFAST SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. breakfast sausage
1 box seasoned croutons
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. grated cheese
1 1/2 c. milk
5 eggs
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained

Brown sausage and drain. Butter casserole pan. Spread croutons over dish. Spread drained sausage over croutons. Mix well (soup, eggs and mushrooms). Pour mix over croutons and cover with cheese.

Should be made the night before and stored in refrigerator until ready to cook. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before you want to cook. Bake on 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

I have made this for YEARS for my Christmas brunch! I have had many compliments and request for this recipe over the years.
It's one I chose because of the fewer ingredients and less baking time which is important when you are serving approximately 100 people.
I want to try to substitute it for a completely different food item and was told not to do it.
The only issue with the recipe is that they failed to add the word milk when combining the wet ingredients to pour over the sausage.
My recipe got damaged and I searched this entire website to find the specific one even though there are several others very very close to Being the same.
