BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
FILLING:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 heaping tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
Butter size of egg

Mix all ingredients together until thickens, pour into baked 8 or 9 inch pie shell then add meringue and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff, then put other ingredients in and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Watch closely.
