PECAN PIE (NANNIE'S) 
4 eggs
2/3 c. sugar (white)
1 c. white or dark Karo syrup
1/3 c. butter, melted
Dash of salt
Pinch of flour (to firm custard)
1 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs thoroughly. Add sugar and corn syrup. Add butter, salt, vanilla, pecans and flour. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300-325 degrees and bake almost an hour or until filling no longer shakes.
