TACOS IN A BAG | |
Great for outdoor meals. 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 1 (15 oz.) can chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup water (optional) Fritos corn chips (individual bags - not the large one) SUGGESTED TOPPINGS: shredded lettuce fresh chopped tomatoes, diced salsa (your choice) dairy sour cream shredded cheddar (or Mexican "fiesta") cheese Cook ground beef until browned. Drain liquid. Add tomato sauce, taco seasoning, chopped tomatoes and water (adjust based on how much liquid you like in your taco meat). Cut up enough lettuce and tomatoes to cover meat. Open Frito's corn chip bag carefully with scissors. Place taco meat, salsa, sour cream, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese over the chips. Seal each bag with a clip, if traveling.
