7 - LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice (regular, not minute)
1 c. canned whole kernel corn, drained

Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water. 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper 3/4 lb. uncooked hamburger

Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add second can tomato sauce and 1/4 can water.

Place uncooked rice and corn in 2 quart casserole with tight-fitting lid. Pour tomato sauce and water over it. Next, put onion and green peppers in. Then put the uncooked hamburger on top. Pour second can of tomato sauce and water over that. Put the strips of bacon on top. Put lid on and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer until bacon is crisp.
