EIGHT LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. canned corn, drained
1 c. green beans, drained
Salt & pepper
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1 can water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. green pepper
1 lb. uncooked ground beef
4 strips bacon

Layer rice, corn and green beans. Sprinkle salt and pepper; pour 1 can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water over these layers. Add onions, green peppers and uncooked ground beef. Sprinkle salt and pepper.

Pour another can of tomato sauce and 1/2 can of water over these layers. Cover ground beef with 4 strips bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake about 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Serves 4-6. Perfect for lazy weekends, buffet dinners or covered dish dinners.
