DELICIOUS CREAMED SPINACH 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
2 slices bacon, cooked & chopped or equivalent bacon bits
1/2 c. finely chopped onions
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1 c. milk

Cook spinach according to directions; drain well. Cook bacon and onions until tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add flour, salt, pepper and garlic. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add milk, return to heat and stir until thickened. Add spinach and mix well. Makes 4 servings.
