CHESS RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. flourc. rich milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter

Cook raisins in enough water, 1/2 to cup. Cover. Add 1/4 cup of the sugar. Combine flour and remaining sugar. Add milk and egg yolks well beaten. Stir until smooth and add to raisins. Cook until thick. Put in baked pie shell and cover with meringue, I usually let mine cool a little before I put it in the crust.
