SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS
2 1/2 to 3 lbs hamburger
Broiled Steak Seasoning
1/2 to 1 stack packaged saltine crackers, crumbled
1 - 2 eggs
1/2 - 2/3 cup vinegar (regular)
1-2 cans pineapple chunks (and juice)
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 - 2 medium green bell peppers
2 tbs cornstarch
2 tbs soy sauce

Mix Hamburger with eggs and crackers and sprinkle generously with Broiled Steak Seasoning; mix well. Take enough hamburger to fit in your palm and squeeze tightly between both palms to form a good solid ball. Place in open skillet and cook on medium heat turning every 5 minutes; cover (reduce heat if browning too quickly). Continue until fully cooked.

Meatballs will appear very large when cooking but will shrink about 10 - 20% after they are done. Keep in skillet on warm.

Mix vinegar, cornstarch, and soy sauce in a separate bowl; stir in onion, bell peppers, and pineapple with juice.

In another skillet, put this into it and bring to a boil; add in meatballs and stir; set on low and forget about it for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, stir, simmer and forget about it for another hour.

Serve over white rice or make another meal out of it. The meatballs are a meal by themselves.

I hope you enjoy.
