CHILI FOR HOT DOGS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. oil
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tbsp. catsup
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder

Combine ground beef, oil, tomato paste, water, salt, sugar, vinegar, mustard, catsup and onion in large saucepan. Simmer over low heat 4-5 hours, stirring frequently. Add chili powder. Cook until very thick with rich brown color, stirring frequently. This is delicious over hot dogs or hamburgers. Freezes well.
