NEW ORLEANS HOT TAMALES 
3 lb. ground beef
2 lg. onions
4 toes garlic

Brown above ingredients in large Dutch oven, then add: 3 cans Old El Paso hot enchilada sauce 1 can Campbell's beef broth 1 pkg. Old El Paso chili mix 4 tbsp. chili powder 2 cans water 1 oz. ground commins 5 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 3 tsp. red pepper

Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour. Then drain off meat mixture from gravy with colander and save the gravy aside. Put the meat in a large mixing bowl, then add: 1 tbsp. chili powder 1/4 c. cooking oil 3/4 c. or more of gravy from heat 1 oz. ground commins

Mix well; roll into tamale papers, stand in pot, and add all the gravy and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Then make a hog out of yourself!
