CABBAGE HOT TAMALES 
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lb. pork sausage
4 oz chili powder
1 T salt
1 (16 oz) can tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 loose head cabbage
1 c rice
1 large can tomato juice

Mix hamburger meat, pork sausage, chili powder, rice, salt, tomatoes and garlic. Set aside. Wash cabbage. Pour hot water over cabbage until it will separate the leaves. Put a small amount of meat mixture in each leaf. Roll up, placing in a large pot. When completed, pour tomato juice over them. Cook until rice and meat are done, about 1 hour.
