BARBECUED PORK CHOPS 
4 rib or loin pork chops (1-inch thick), fat trimmed off
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. water
1 med. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown chops well on each side, 8 to 10 minutes, over moderately high heat, in a skillet brushed with oil. Transfer to a small roasting pan or casserole dish. Simmer all ingredients 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour sauce over chops and bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until chops are tender. Turn chops once during baking. About 360 calories per serving.
