STUFFED ITALIAN SAUSAGES PARMESAN | |
1 pkg. Italian sausage links (5-6 links, sweet or hot) 5-6 Mozzarella cheese sticks 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (I like MID's) Oregano or Italian seasoning, to taste Grated Parmesan-Romano cheese Cut Italian sausages down the middle; place a stick of Mozzarella cheese inside each link. Place sausages in a casserole dish and cover with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with oregano or Italian seasoning. Cover with foil and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan-Romano cheese; cook for an additional 20 minutes. (Can broil to brown the top if you wish.) Serve Italian sausages on lightly toasted sub rolls, over spaghetti or your favorite pasta, or with garlic mashed potatoes. Submitted by: Carol |
