SAUTEED GARLIC SPINACH 
Cook a 10-ounce package of spinach leaves according to package directions or steam 1 pound fresh spinach until tender. Drain well, squeezing out excess water. Combine spinach in skillet with 1 clove crushed garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Cook 2 or 3 minutes, stirring. Serves 2.

You don't need to precook the spinach, just sauté with the garlic.
