SAUCE FOR BREAD PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. reg. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Combine sugar, starch and both milks. Cook over low heat until bubbly and thick. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice.
