BREAD PUDDING 
1 loaf fresh French bread, sliced & cubed
2 1/2 c. milk
1 can condensed milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick melted butter
1 can drained fruit cocktail
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract

Put bread in LARGE bowl. Pour all ingredients over bread and mix well. Place in greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

LEMON BUTTER SAUCE:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
Lemon extract or juice to taste

Put butter in saucepan and melt. Combine powdered sugar, cornstarch and water in cup and blend. Add to butter and cook until bubbly. Remove from heat, add vanilla and lemon. Pour over hot bread pudding.
