SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/4 c. butter
3 eggs
Dash of salt
1 c. chopped pecans
9 inch pie shell

Melt butter. Mix with sugar, syrup and salt. Beat eggs thoroughly and mix with other ingredients. Add pecans to mixture and place in unbaked pie shell. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
