Brush melted butter over 4 cornish hens; bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees on wire rack in pan; reduce to 350; bake another hour. Baste every 15 minutes with:

2 tbsp. butter
1 clove minced garlic
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
Dash cayenne pepper
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
