TEXAS CHILE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
2 (15 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
1 med. onion, minced
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp. red chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
Crushed chili peppers to own taste

Cook meat, onions, garlic powder, garlic salt. Drain. Add all other ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 2 hours, stirring often. Serve with Texas toast or crackers. Serves 8.
