HONEY POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. honey
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, unsifted
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter gradually, add honey. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Then add flour, salt, and soda by spoonfuls, beating well. Heat to 350 degrees. Pour batter into a well greased 8 inch loaf or square pan. Bake for 45 minutes.

Great base recipe 4 honey pound cake. I added coconut milk, shredded coconut, pineapples and 4 tbsp. lemon juice. Made a moist tropical cake.
