FRENCH CHERRY DESSERT 
1/2 lb. graham crackers
3/4 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar
2 pkgs. Dream Whip or lg. carton Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 can cherry pie filling

Blend crumbs of 1/2 pound graham crackers with 3/4 cup melted butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Line 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes (no more). Set aside to cool.

Mix Dream Whip according to package directions (or use Cool Whip). Mix 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar with an 8 ounce package cream cheese. Whip this mixture together with whipped topping.

Spread over cracker crumbs. Top with 1 can cherry pie filling. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Top with more whipped topping, if desired.
