NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
1 c. flour (plus 2 tbsp.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. corn oil
2 tbsp. ice water

TWO CRUST PIE
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. corn oil
3 tbsp. ice water

Heat oven to 450 degrees for 1 crust pie. Bake at 425 degrees for 2 crust pie. Mix flour with salt. Blend corn oil with ice water in cup and whip. Mix with flour and form into ball. If too dry add 1 to 2 tablespoons more corn oil.

Roll into circle between two sheets of waxed paper. Place pastry into pan, paper side up (after removing one sheet of paper). Peel off paper and fit into pan pressing together any place it comes apart. Flute edges.
