SWEET & SOUR ASPARAGUS 
1 can (15 oz.) asparagus spears, drained
3 slices bacon, diced, cooked until crisp
1/3 c. green or red pepper, cut in long strips
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 tsp. sugar

Place asparagus on serving dish. Cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and most of bacon grease. Saute pepper strips and onion until onion is transparent (low heat). Put bacon back in pan. Combine vinegar and sugar and add to bacon mixture. Pour over asparagus. Serve immediately.
