FRENCH FRIED MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. small mushrooms
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour or cracker crumbs

Mix egg and milk mixture; dip fresh mushrooms into mixture and then into flour or cracker crumbs. Fry in hot deep fat until golden brown. Drain on paper towel; salt to taste. Serve hot. Best with Ranch dressing.
