JEFF'S AWESOME FRENCH DIP SANDWICH | |
1 bag French sandwich rolls (six count) 1 lb. thin deli sliced roast beef 1/2 yellow onion 1 jalapeno 4 large mushrooms 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 1 (10 oz.) can French onion soup 1 pkg. Au Jus gravy mix (McCormick) 1 pkg. Swiss cheese (sliced or shredded) Heat butter on medium in non-stick skillet. While heating slice onion very thin and set aside. Next slice jalapeno into long thin strips. Then slice mushrooms. Add to skillet. Prepare the Au Jus gravy mix according to package directions. When done add French Onion soup. Keep hot. Place roast beef on top of sautéed vegetables and let cook until hot. Slice buns almost all the way through lengthwise. Stir vegetables and meat. Add sliced cheese on buns (if shredded add on top of meat). Add the meat to buns. VOILA!!! Pour gravy into dipping size bowls and serve. Serves 6. Submitted by: Tanya Roybal |
